Editor in Chief PropertyEU
Judi established PropertyEU together with founding director Wabe van Enk in 2006 and has worked as Editor in Chief since then. Based in Amsterdam, PropertyEU provides a daily digital newsletter, monthly magazine and regular reports on the European real estate industry for an international readership. PropertyEU also collects data on European real estate transactions and developments across Europe and produces rankings of the top investors, developers, cities and financiers. The PropertyEU business model is based on that of PropertyNL which Wabe van Enk founded in 2001 and which has since become market leader in the Netherlands.
Before joining PropertyEU, Judi worked as a staff reporter and web editor for Dutch financial newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad. Her contributions included articles for the English-language section of the newspaper, as well as daily and weekly supplements included in The International Herald Tribune’s Dutch circulation. From 2002-2006, Judi worked for the Dutch-language daily newspaper focusing particularly on the construction, engineering and real estate sector and related industries. She has also worked as a writer, translator and copywriter for Dutch companies including AkzoNobel, KLM and ABN Amro Bank and the Netherlands’ ministry of foreign affairs. From 1988-1993 she was the Editor of AkzoNobel’s internal publications News & Views and a contributor to On Stream. Prior to that, she was employed at the University of Amsterdam as an English tutor. She has also published articles in Australian newspapers including The Age and contributed to publications on Dutch and Australian Aboriginal art.
Judi has a doctoral degree in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Indonesian from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Born in Australia, Judi has both Australian and Dutch nationality. She currently lives in Amsterdam with her partner.
