European Partnership Director for Study Group, Chair of the Marketing & Recruitment Board of the European Association for International Education
Arnold Persoon is European Project Director for Study Group and responsible for the creation of the ‘Holland International Study Centre’. This centre in Amsterdam prepares students for Dutch University programmes and is connected to a range of Universities including Groningen, Wageningen, VU Amsterdam and Nyenrode. Before moving to this position in 2012, Arnold was Director Corporate Marketing & Communications at Nyenrode and worked at Leiden University for over eight years as an International Marketing Manager.
Arnold has a background in marketing communications and was a founding board member of the EAIE Marketing & Recruitment Expert Community, which he chaired until September 2014. In 2014 He became an elected member of the EAIE Board. His approach and expertise are characterised by a focus on collaboration and innovation and the use of market driven sustainable business models as a driver of Internationalisation. Arnold was awarded the EAIE Bo Gregerson Award for Best Practice in 2009.
