Learn first-hand from leading investors what portfolio priorities they have set for 2016 and whether the appetite for student housing market investment will continue to rise. 



Michiel Dubois is Managing Director Residential Real Estate at Bouwfonds REIM. Bouwfonds is one of Europe’s leading real estate investors and has added nearly 6,000 student accommodation units to their portfolio across four countries. 

Tom Wilmot is Acquisitions and Development Manager Continental Europe for Crosslane. With their Prime Student Living brand, Crosslane owns and operates over 3,000 beds across Europe, and plans to grow to 30,000 in the next 5 years.

Rainer Nonnengässer is Managing Director at MPC Capital. With more than 20 years of experience in Real Estate, Rainer is now heading MPC’s efforts to grow their StayToo brand in the booming German student housing market.

Felix Hillen is Managing Director of The Student Hotel. This award-winning hybrid between hotel and student accommodation operates 2,000 beds in The Netherlands, merged with Barcelona-based Melon District in 2015, and has plans to open in several new markets.
